There are four different species of the flamingo.
The common greater flamingo, lesser, Andean and James.
Flamingos are marsh feeding birds where they use their hooked
shaped bills to scoop up a meal which includes small organisms,
algae, insects, mollusks and other prey.
Standing 3 to 5 feet when mature the flamingos feathers are light
coral pink in color with the exception of some black winged feathers.
